WWE The Music Vol. 9


WWE The Music, Vol. 9 is a compilation album scheduled to be released by WWE in January 27, 2009. The album was originally announced to be a three-CD set featuring new music by Jim Johnston and alternate mixes of older material from the past 25 years to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.

However, the album will now be a single disc of original theme music of current superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment, with a bonus disc containing a selection of past music.

The original album title was "WWE Anthology II" and was originally set to be the sequel to WWE's 2002 album "WWE Anthology".

Final Thoughts


I feel ripped off.

I hate it when WWE pull the plug on their ideas. Anthology II sounded better than "Voices".

Knowing WWE, they will probably do really random remixes to their theme songs. Just like they did on Themeaddict, when they decided to remix Undertaker's "The Darkest Side" song.

I hope they don't edit the songs.
