IPW owner Hawk says he has a major announcement to make on the night, which could significantly alter the course of IPW in 2009.


MATCH ADDED: Mystery vs Blizzard

Top Australian high flyer versus top Russian high flyer in a grudge meeting that has been brewing for months. After a year long stint in the Russian army, Blizzard returned to Australian shores late last year claiming to be "a much harder wrestler" for the experience. His homecoming party was promptly ruined by Slam Nation TV title contender Mystery, and Blizzard has targetted Mystery ever since for revenge. This match will be high flying heaven!


MATCH ADDED: Peter Ohhh! vs Slamming Sam

The two rookies had spirited, albeit unsuccessful, starts to their respective careers at the end of 2008, Peter Ohhh! teeing off against both Hawk and "The Future" Nick Burns with no luck, while Slamming Sam battled Blizzard and Dexter Logic for losses on both occasions. With the same amount of experience, but all the enthusiasm in the world, surely one will score his first career win and kick off the New Year on a roll?
