Matt Hardy's Title Loss

On this weeks ECW, we saw a shocking turn of events.

Matt Hardy has lost the ECW Championship.


TITLE CHANGE

On ECW, we saw a title match up between Jack Swagger and Matt Hardy.

After hitting an exposed turnbuckle, Jack Swagger pinned Matt Hardy to be crowned as the new ECW Champion.

To many wrestling fans, this will come as a shock.

To the rest, this was only a matter of time.

ECW has turned into the "Promote the younger stars" TV Show. Whereby, if you do an excellent job in WWE's training ground, FCW, then you get called up to come and wrestle on ECW.

Right now, the youngest and most talented guy on the ECW roster is Jack Swagger.


FUTURE PLANS

The title drop was probably the best thing to happen to Matt Hardy.

First, It allow him to actually have proper storylines and not just constant matches with Mark Henry over and over again.

Second, the current plan in the WWE world is for Matt Hardy is to play a prominent role in the upcoming Christian/Jeff Hardy storyline.

Previously, we reported on the Jeff Hardy "Hit and run" accident. Again, this is a storyline and wasn't a "real life" accident.

The sooner this Christian storyline happens - the better.
