Hall Yeah! - Austin in the 2009 Hall of Fame

The WWE Hall of Fame site had an interesting image uploaded to it.

It featured none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin himself with the words.

"Hall Yeah - Hes In!
Stone Cold Steve Austin leads the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009"

No harm done right?


Controversial image

Wrong.

Shortly after this was discovered, the graphic was removed and the section was put back the way it was before.

The belief (or rumour), going around at the moment is that a disgruntled (and now former) WWE employee may have put the graphic up during all the lay-offs at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT who still had access to do so.


Luckily, this screenshot provides proof.



Final Thought

This is good and bad at the same time.

Good News: they are finally acknowledging Steve Austin in the Hall of Fame

Bad News: With this nomination, we will more than likely never see Steve Austin wrestle again.

But hell, never say never.
