Kevin Nash Injured

For those who watched TNA Genesis last night, you would have already heard the story.

For those who haven't, you will now.

Worked Injury

During the TNA Genesis PPV coverage, TNA announcers stated that Kevin Nash would not be able to compete, and that he wasn't "in the building."

To many of the fans, this appeared to be another work, which would eventually lead to a "surprise run-in" during the final match.

That never happened.

Nash Out of Action

The injury was actually real.

Kevin Nash was hospitalized earlier in Charlotte, NC with a sever Staph infection in his elbow.

What is a Staph infection?

According to Medicinenet.com
A staph infection is:

Staphylococcus is group of bacteria, familiarly known as Staph (pronounced "staff"), that can cause a multitude of diseases as a result of infection of various tissues of the body. Staph bacteria can cause illness not only directly by infection (such as in the skin), but also indirectly by producing toxins responsible for food poisoning and toxic shock syndrome. Staph-related illness can range from mild and requiring no treatment to severe and potentially fatal.

There is also a strong fear that Nash may have blood poisoning.

Sources have been told that this is a serious infection and there is a lot of concern within the locker room for Nash’s wellbeing.

Final Thought

I wish all the best for Nash and his recovery.
